Featured Exhibitor: YNot Motorsports

YNot Motorsports is an authorized GoPro Hero dealer and has developed a number of unique accessories for the popular motorsports cameras that can be found nowhere else. Tony Oldham, owner of YNot Motorsports, began his racing career as a track marshall at Virginia International Raceway in 2001 and quickly saw a need for electronics support for racers who used technology in their teams and cars.

Oldham began his business as a hobby, capturing video of drivers on-track and it quickly exploded into full-fledged demand for similar equipment teams and drivers could use themselves. As racers began utilizing the equipment, they complained how difficult it was to switch the camera on and off from the driver’s seat. Oldham spent years developing a remote switch that drivers can use to trigger one single camera or multiple cameras at once. Drivers are now able to save their batteries and memory card space and have more usable footage on their cameras.

GoPro cameras are used by more motorsports professionals, race teams and core enthusiasts than any other camera in the world. The HD HERO2: Motorsports Edition is the most advanced GoPro camera yet. Wearable and gear mountable, waterproof to 197′ (60m), capable of capturing professional full 170º wide angle 1080p video and 11 megapixel photos at a rate of 10 photos per second, the HD HERO2 is the world’s most versatile camera. Whether your goal is to capture footage of a spirited rip through backcountry roads or you want to capture and study lapping footage to learn how to set a new track record, the HD HERO2: Motorsports Edition is going to be one of your favorite motorsports purchases of all time.

Included are mounting accessories you’re most likely to use during motorsports activities with the exception of a rollbar mount. The rollbar mount and the YNot Motorsports remote switch (HD1 and HD2 compatible), along with other accessories, will be available for purchase at the Charlotte Racers Expo at show special pricing.
