Frank Good is the founder of Good Motorsports, LLC, a new company devoted to excellence in automotive performance. Growing up in New Jersey and spending his summers at Orange County Fair Speedway, he caught the racing bug early on. At the age of 18, Frank started to race micro stocks, and after much success he started a NASCAR late model team. With success as a driver behind him, two years later he took a job with DIRT modified star Brett Hearn. Continuing on in the cycle of motorsports, Good has since been an integral part of such NASCAR teams as Filmar Racing, Robert Yates Racing, Richard Petty Motorsports and Gillett-Evernham Motorsports.
Having devoted his whole life around racing and winning, he is now devoting this experience and knowledge to help other racers be the best they can be on every level from Saturday night short tracks to the top levels of racing.
“I want to help the younger generation win races like I have done my whole life,” said Good. “I am very proud to have been schooled by some of the legendary mechanics of our sport including Gordon Hearn, Whitey Memmelar, Jake ‘Suitcase’ Elder, Jim ‘2 Can’ Murray, Pete Peterson and Robert Yates. These men taught me about racing and life, and now it is my turn to give back to the kids of today.”
With Frank traveling to the races for over 22 years, he earned the respect of competitors and vendors around the country, including DynoJet. DynoJet Research has been the official dyno of NASCAR and the Grand Am ROLEX series for the past 10 years. In February 2009 they came to agreement with Frank and Good Motorsports as the only choice to purchase this mobile chassis Dyno. It is the only one of its kind and is trusted by the auto industry throught the Country. This chassis dyno was the only dyno used by the last 10 Daytona 500 and 24 hours of Daytona winners.
