The 2013 Charlotte Racers Expo will once again feature a comprehensive sponsorship and marketing seminar on Saturday night, January 26, from 5:00-7:00 at the Comfort Suites Northlake, the host hotel for the Expo.

Attendance is limited to the first 40 paid registrations.

The seminar will include instruction and guidance on maximizing your racing team’s sponsorship search through the proper use of public relations, sponsor relations, cross-marketing and cross-promotion, sponsorship seeking techniques, etc.. While there is no magic answer that instantly “woos” every sponsor a racer approaches, there are some basic things each one looks for before investing their time and money into a racing program.

The seminar will be led by current UARA-STARS tour and Charlotte Motor Speedway announcer Tony Stevens. Tony graduated with a degree in public relations from California University of Pennsylvania and has been involved in racing over the past two decades in nearly every aspect — as a crew member and competitor, PR/marketing rep, media member, announcer and a series official. His list of experience includes roles in the Summer Shootout Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the ARCA Racing Series, PASS South and the former ASA National Tour, various divisions of NASCAR, and the FASTRAK Racing Series for dirt crate late models.

The cost for the seminar is only $49/person and includes refreshments, course materials and one-on-one coaching for a period of 30 days after the conclusion of the trade show event.
